Share your ring ideas, review the CAD design, confirm, and we'll craft your unique piece. Check Our Process page for details.

What is CAD design, and why is it essential?

Can I make changes to the CAD design after it's completed?

Yes, we collaborate with you to revise the CAD design until it aligns perfectly with your vision. However, changes cannot be made once you confirm and approve the design.

What happens if I'm not satisfied with the CAD design?

If you're not satisfied with the CAD design, we work closely with you to make revisions until it meets your expectations and vision for the perfect ring.

How long does it take to finalize the design and move to production?

Once the CAD design is confirmed and approved by you, we proceed to production. Gold jewelry typically takes about 15 days, while silver jewelry requires approximately 25 days.

About Sapphire

Where do sapphires come from?

While natural sapphires are found in various locations around the world such as Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Australia, Thailand, and the United States, at R&T Original, we specialize in lab-grown sapphires. These gemstones are created in controlled environments, ensuring consistent quality and color, while also aligning with our commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.

What colors do sapphires come in?

While sapphires are most famous for their deep blue color, they actually come in a range of colors including pink, yellow, orange, green, and even clear. The color variation is due to the presence of different trace minerals.

How should I care for my sapphire jewelry?

Sapphires should be cleaned regularly with mild soap and water. Use a soft brush to gently remove any dirt. It's also important to protect them from harsh chemicals and extreme temperatures to maintain their brilliance.

How durable are sapphires?

Sapphires are one of the hardest gemstones, ranking 9 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness. This makes them an excellent choice for everyday wear, resistant to scratches and other forms of damage.

Are your sapphires ethically sourced?

Absolutely. At R&T Original, our commitment to ethical sourcing is at the heart of our business. Our lab-grown sapphires are created with an emphasis on environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

What makes lab-grown sapphires different from natural ones?

Lab-grown sapphires share the same physical, chemical, and optical properties as natural sapphires. The key difference is their origin; lab-grown sapphires are created in controlled environments, which reduces the environmental impact associated with traditional mining.

Can sapphires be used in all types of jewelry?

Yes, sapphires are versatile and can be set in a variety of jewelry types, including rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Their hardness makes them suitable for pieces that are worn daily.

Do sapphires have any symbolic meanings?
